….she says I’ve led an interesting life and should write about it. Meanwhile, I figured I was “no-one special.” I’m just an American who has been living in France for 6 years. And I’ve been crazy about motorcycles since I first climbed onto the back of my Grandfather’s Honda Trail 55 at five years old. Which I was eventually riding all by myself by the age of 9…. then I raced Quads in my 20’s, competed in bodybuilding in my 30’s, ran half marathons and did kick-boxing in my 40’s… all while running a successful business (a recording studio) with several employees. At which point I finally went to college to get a degree in English. Now I’m in my 50’s and frankly, life has never been better (which I imagine is surprising news for those of you in your 20’s and 30’s).
Hmmm… having listed off all of these accomplishments, I guess my sister may have a point. I currently live in Southern France where I teach English when I’m not traveling on my Moto Guzzi Griso. So- here I am, about to launch into how I “ended up” in France, my motorcycle travels here, and what it is like to be an independent woman on a bike in both Europe and the USA. What a great idea! Thanks Selah!
P.S., If you want to know more about how I became one of Moto Guzzi’s biggest fans, just look at the featured content on the Home page.
Your sister is in right! I completely agree with her. You live a special life because you are special 😉
